Shab e Barat Quotes :Shab e Barat means the night of forgiveness or freedom from hellfire.Our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to pray for the whole night on 15 of Shabaan and had fasting on the day of 15 Shabaan. Shab-e-Barat has great Fazilat in Islam. One night, our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) remained in sajdah for an unusually long time. The Sajdah was so long that Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) became worried about Him (PBUH). When He (PBUH) finished his prayer, he explained about his long Sajdah to Hazrat Ayesha (R. A), and said, “Do you know the importance of tonight? It is the mid-Shabaan night. Allah Almighty accepts “Tauba” of his creature. Allah Almighty blesses the sinners if they seek forgiveness.
